Bach flower therapy
The Bach flower therapy, developed in the 1930s by the British physician Dr. E. Bach, is a method similar to homeopathy for treatment and co-treatment of acute and chronic psychosomatic disorders. Bach claimed that the 38 wildflowers have a soul or energy with an affinity to the human soul. By the allocation to the individual flowers the patient is offered a chance to surmount temporary or longer lasting general negative moods like e.g. insecurity, fear or panic, jealousy, fatigue, guilty feelings, culpability, melancholia and others. The goal is a better emotional balance, self-awareness, harmonious development and a higher stability of the personality. The target-oriented Bach flower concentrates enhance the resistance against emotional and psychosomatic troubles. They replace or support a medicinal therapy.

Mode of operation
The therapist diagnoses the emotional disorder in an extended oral interview and selects afterwards the flower concentrates for the therapy. Acute troubles often require a short treatment, for certain disorders a further or post treatment may be required. For chronic diseases several interviews followed by an adjustment of the flower concentrates may be useful.

Application areas
Treatment and co-treatment of acute and chronic psychosomatic diseases.
