1956 born in Istanbul.
1975–1982 Study of medicine at the Christian Albrechts-Universität, Kiel.
1983 Assistant doctor in the department of psychiatry at the University clinicum Kiel.
1983–1993 Assistant doctor at the Medical Clinic of the Friedrich-Ebert-Krankenhaus of the city of Neumünster. In the frame of an exchange of assistant doctors she worked from April to September 1986 in the rehabilitation hospital in Bad Segeberg (focus on cardiology), and for one year (February 1987 to February 1988) in the Radiological hospital Neumünster.
1991 Recognized certificate of medical specialist in internal medicine by the Ärztekammer Schleswig Holstein (Medical Association / Chamber of Physicians) of the Land Schleswig-Holstein)
1992 Award of the certificate “emergency medical services”
1993 Establishment in team practice with Dr Hecker and Dr Spiegel
